Gamist - Narrativist - Simulationist

 

There's no invalid way to play; friction comes from a disharmonious group. When players know what type of game and what type of players they prefer the group can be in sync and the game will be far better.

There are however good and bad ways to express each of the 3 styles in GNS theory. I've come up with this diagram to help my players understand.
